Most gardeners know zucchini. But have you met its cousins?

Italian Squash (Cocozelle) – An heirloom favorite with a sweeter, richer flavor that many gardeners prefer over traditional zucchini.

Patty Pan Squash – The little flying saucer of the garden! Tender, buttery, and perfect for roasting whole or stuffing.

Traditional Zucchini – The reliable summer classic that’s great grilled, sautéed, baked, or turned into zucchini bread.

If you’ve only ever grown or tried zucchini, this might be the year to branch out and try something new. You may discover a new favorite! Art says patty pan is his favorite to grill.
