A HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO NCWORKS! ❤️

NCWorks has been a tremendous supporter of the Buladean Community Center, and we are so grateful for their continued investment in our work.

They have extended our current staffing grant, which helps cover TWO-THIRDS of our staff. That support helps keep our doors open, our programs running, and our Center serving this community every single day.

A special thank you to Christy Harrell and Pam Wilson for continuing to work with us, ADVOCATE for us, and help us keep our staff in place.

Staffing support may not always be the most visible kind of funding, but it is one of the most important.

Their investment in our workforce is an investment in this entire community.

Everyone had a great time at Linda Robinson’s jewelry and bookmark class! We have really enjoyed adding Thursday evening crafting to the schedule, and Linda is already scheduled to be back on October 8th & 26th! Stay tuned for more details on what she’ll be teaching next.

We want to do huge shout-out to the Buladean Fire Department for the incredible way they continue to help us and serve our community!

From the medical response and assistance at the Rolling ’Neath the Roan Car Show, to helping with parking, traffic, and being involved in so many of our community events, their support has been spectacular.

We are incredibly thankful for these MEN & WOMEN who give their time, energy, and skills to help keep our community safe and strong.

If you’ve ever wanted a meaningful way to serve your community alongside a great group of people, we highly encourage you to look into volunteering with your local Buladean Fire department.
