All my dahlia people the time has come! It looks as though we are frost free finally and can plant in the ground! I’d wait til after these next 3 days of rain before tossing your potato babies in the ground. Plant about 6” deep, throw some compost in hole, and put a stake in the ground next to them to stake them up as they grow. It’s finally here!!! I’ll be planting mine this weekend. Let the games begin!!

🍅IT’s TOMATO TIME!🍅
I have lots of extra tomato starts for sale
I grew from seed (about 15-20 of each variety). Non GMO organic seeds and Coast of Maine compost/dirt. Still have some time before they can go into the ground so make sure if you’re buying, you are able to care for them properly until planting time (2-3 weeks). Here’s a list of what I have and included pictures below:

-Ace 55
-Brandywine
-Beefy purple
-Yellow pear
-Carolina golds

They are $3 per tomato start in a solo cup with dirt. I will be starting to harden them off a bit this week or next as they will be ready for the ground in about 2-3 weeks. First come first serve. Most starts are about 6 inches tall. I will post some pics of the teenagers later today. Comment below or DM me on Grateful Blooms what you would like and how many. These tomatoes are all amazing to eat! Spring is finally here!!!

Spring Flower Walk. It was so nice to learn about some of our native femoral plants on a two hour walk around the farm. Loved hearing the different ways these early producers attract pollinators and have mechanisms to pollinate. It was amazing seeing the horses in action plowing and getting their fields ready. Which of these plants do you know? 😁
