✨HEX Ferments Hot Sauce: Made with local organic hot peppers, garlic, kombucha vinegar and spices.✨🌶️

✨Pawpaw Shrub: We foraged 60lbs of pawpaws and lovingly processed them with local apple cider vinegar and made into a shrub!✨🍹

✨For Bitter or Worse: The Saskatoon is a delicious NA red wine alternative with notes of tart berry, black pepper and Douglas fir needles.✨🍷

✨Little Saints: NA cocktails that infuse reishi mushroom and terpenes for a drink that is both functional and delicious.✨

✨Sonoko: Quick Curry Brick Kit makes dinner quick and easy by combining curry powder with a roux and spices. Just add the vegetables and meat!✨

✨Philosopher Foods: Sprouted Almond Butter makes their almonds more digestible and nutritious. They dehydrate their almonds instead of roasting to maintain nutritional content.✨

We are excited to host Chef Anna Kent of Tom Cat’s Kitchen for a Sunday of inventive vegan dishes using kimchis, krauts, preserves and vinegars with Tom Cat’s signature vegan dishes using fresh, local ingredients.

Bring your Valentine, bring yourself, bring all the people you love, to the first Kitchen Takeover of 2025!

🐈‍⬛MENU💘

Ginger Curry Carrot Soup — Ginger Curry Carrot using HEX ginger turmeric vinegar, finished with carrot greens pesto and vegan sour cream swirl. Served with HEX focaccia.

Briney Winter Snacking Mix to Share — Silken onion dip. HEX daikon dill brined carrots and cauliflower, giant caperberries, Cerignola olives, whole garlic cloves.

Beets, Cheese & Greens — Roasted beets & HEX pickled beets, HEX Cashew cheese, good greens, crushed pistachios, silly pink dressing.

Kimchi Cream Gnocchi — Fluffy potato gnocchi tossed with HEX Kimchi in a rich cream sauce. Topped with crispy seared mushrooms, wilted bok choy, seaweed, scallion and sesame.

Cherry Jam Blondies — Baked with HEX cherry jam, served with fresh berries, sliced almonds and whipped cream.

✨Hello? Is that February we see? Is that just a tad more daylight as well? OMG, we made it (almost) through January! Lots of fun workshops and events in-store for February, including our first Kitchen Takeover of 2025!

Open today 11-6pm! Join us on our last open day of 2024 for comforting dishes, healthy drinking and last minute holiday shopping.

The tasting room has all your favorites including our weekly specials; Super Chicken Sandwich, Spinach & Bulgur Meatballs, Black Radish Grilled Cheese and our “HEXy 75” made with Dodon Kombucha. Give your taste buds some fermented kick!

While snackin’ and sippin’ check out the market for any last minute gifts, stocking stuffers, ingredients for holiday dishes and more! Ask our Markey Host for help and ideas!
(We still have a couple coveted tinned fish gift sets available!)

Still can’t find that perfect gift? Booze always works! Ask our Beverage Host for recommendations.

In December we also had our annual staff party! We ate delicious lasagna (thanks Dave!) played a funny hand slapping game and exchanged gifts. Nothing is possible without our amazing teams!

We will be closed December 25th through January 1st. We reopen January 2nd.

Thank you for all your support in 2024! We are already looking forward to some fun things we have cookin’ up for 2025! Happy Holidays!
