We seemed to have an issue with a customer this past weekend regarding meat yield of a hill country whitetail deer. If you kill a 120 lbs deer live weight , you can expect 35 to 45 lbs of meat back not 65 to 75 lbs. If your lucky . Considering you didnt blow both shoulders out or something. And I am not the person to accuse of stealing your deer. (We always have that "one" every year) smh.
Use common sense here. Why would I want your deer? I DONT WANT IT! LOL I can literally open the back door to my shop and shoot one on any given day. And i would have a choice between axis or whitetail. We do one deer at a time. Period. Only one in meat room at a time. We have a standing policy your more than welcome to come watch us cut it up. And if there was ever a question about us getting 100% of edible meat reference the picture below.
