Some exciting long time in the works update: we are adding a small apiary to our little homestead. So hopefully we will be able to add home harvested honey and propalis to our baked goods... and sales table. All the while increasing the local pollinator population! I will share our journey over time, this is a long term project :)

Big news!!! We will be joining the Bandon Farmer's Market this Summer. The coordinator position has been taken up by the amazing Sean, and he is organizing a fabulous reinvigoration of my favorite market. This time we get to take part! Look for more information regarding the Bandon Farmers Market in the future, but for now you will find us indoor there on June 13th and June 27th. See you there!

Tomorrow at the wednesday Coos Bay Farmers Market is an extra special day. Along with our sourdough quail egg pasta (flavors: plain, sundried tomato, and mushroom), we will have our oatmeal creams, almond pillows, candycap rice crispy treats, extra fudgy brownies, chocochip cookies, hand tarts (cherry and peach), and a limited edition dark chocolate cherry with marzipan cake.

Remember we home mill the flour, hand make the butter, use a family recipe for the marzipan, and quail eggs...

Speaking of quail eggs, we will only have 3 dozen for sale tomorrow, get there early or contact me to reserve!

Our sister business Gilded Krakken Studio: Home of Ursula's Handmade Treasures will be doing watercolor demos this week.

Thank you Brookings Oregon! Many of you sought us out in your journey through the Azalea Festival Street market, not only did you buy me out in ONE DAY of my confectionery, but you also shared your own quail keeping journey. I love it all!!! You can find us at the Wednesday coos bay farmers market, but if you need hatching eggs or grown birds I'm happy to meet you in Port Orford, or possibly Gold Beach :) Just drop me a line. HOLY AMAZEBALLS BATMAN! I put the quail incubator into lockdown, last night (day 15)... today at dinner there was a peeping! One already hatched, 4 more are pipping. Usually they dont start hatching until day 18, so these ones are cute little over achievers ;). The bevey is growing!

Thank you Coos Bay! Another fabulous day at the beautiful Coos Bay Farmers Market, the morning rain washed the streets clean and the slight breeze kept things fresh. Of course you all showed up in style and bought us out again!!! I have so little left for this weekend.... so Medford better show up early to get the goodies.

These almond pillow cookies are so divine! We will be at the Coos Bay Farmers Market rain or shine :) stop by to stock up on eggs, pasta, flat bread, and confectionery.
