It has been quiet here for a while, and I want to start by saying thank you for your patience and support.
When I last posted, I had hoped DuckDrop Local Delivery would be up and running in the first quarter. That timeline changed, and I apologize for not being able to launch as quickly as originally planned.
But the truth is, this is too important to rush.
Behind the scenes, I have been working hard to move through the proper planning, state review, and approval process so DuckDrop can be built the right way from the beginning. We want this to be something local farms, small businesses, food producers, and customers can truly count on.
Every morning on my drive to work, I am fortunate enough to see sunrises like this over our local farmland. It reminds me how beautiful this area is, how much hard work goes into feeding our communities, and how many incredible local treasures we have right here around us.
DuckDrop is being built to partner with local farms, small businesses, and food producers because these businesses matter. They are run by hardworking people, families, and neighbors who care about freshness, quality, and the communities they serve.
Our goal is to create an online marketplace that helps expand the reach of these local businesses throughout the Slate Belt and into the Lehigh Valley, while making locally grown and locally made food more accessible to the people who live here.
This is more than a delivery service to us. It is about supporting local food, strengthening small businesses, and reconnecting our communities with the people producing the food around us.
