Pennsylvania deer hunters are the best, literally! No state in the nation donates more venison than we do! In the 2025-26 hunting season, HSH coordinated the distribution of 294,844 pounds of venison - a new record! That's nearly 1.2 million servings for hungry neighbors in our communities. Thanks SO much for setting the standard in this movement of Hunting as Social Service!

Had the absolute pleasure of meeting with a few members of Victory House today to deliver 160 pounds of donated ground venison. I'm so glad we were able to connect with this incredible facility to help provide meals for their residents.

For the past 40 years, Victory House of Lehigh Valley has been a safe haven for homeless men and Veteran men, providing the support they need to rebuild their lives. Their mission is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, honor, and respect.

​At Victory House, they provide transitional housing and personalized case management, as well as assistance with employment and education to help clients gain independence and stability. Services also include recovery support, mental health assistance, and in house health center services, ensuring that clients receive the care they need to thrive.

Even though the freezer’s full, your mission isn’t over.

With plenty of late season deer hunting opportunities, a pocket full of unused tags, but not much room for anything else in the freezer, you can make that trip afield more purposeful by sharing your harvest.

You can help provide healthy, locally sourced venison to families in need across Pennsylvania, by simply doing something what you love.

There’s no cost to hunters to donate a deer, simply find your closest Hunters Sharing the Harvest processor, drop off the whole deer, and complete a form. That’s it.

One deer can provide up to 200 meals for families in need. In fact, during the 2024-25 seasons, hunters donated nearly 284,000 pounds of venison statewide.

It was a busy morning here at the shop and we've reached full capacity. As always we want to thank you all for such a successful season. We appreciate the support more than you know! If things change and we make room for more, we will post updates here.

Just wanted to take a moment tonight to not only congratulate Cole on harvesting this beautiful buck but also to thank him for his generosity in donating the meat to the Hunters Sharing the Harvest program. It's always great having our youth hunters in the shop but it's really special to see them interested in helping such an incredible cause. Congrats again Cole, keep up the great work!
