First off let me say that I miss seeing so many of you, you folks are awesome! I have some patio tables and chairs that are free to a good home. I have to have them off the property by 10/18 let me know if you are interested. Hope everyone is doing well and that our friends who were in Ian’s are safe. Best wishes to all.

Words can not express the way we feel from all of the reactions and posts you folks have extended this past week. Even more overwhelming is that so many have gone out of there way and made a special trip up here to share memories and to say goodbye. As these final few days play out I am sure emotions will boil over, so please forgive me if get a bit choked up. You have no idea what your friendship has meant to me. As I mentioned before, thank you doesn’t begin to say enough, but that’s all I got.
That being said, time for a shameless plug; if you happen to know anyone who might be interested in a deli case, oven and proofer and a great 3ft grill that can almost cook Reuben’s and 7’s by its self, give them my number. I’ll guarantee a great deal.

To all our Facebook, Google and Instagram friends and followers, it is with a heavy heart the I must announce the closing of the Deli. The land and building are due to be sold to a developer who plans to demolish the building and build back better along the entire street front.
I can not thank you all enough for the 21 years of business. In the case of so many our relationship has gone from business to personal, and those are the type you just can’t replace, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
We are looking at either 26 or 27 August as our final day; so if you have chance drop in and say hello/goodby, even if you are not getting that last sandwich, we would love to see you.
One last thing, before you ask, Robin and I will continue to operate the Perry House B&B and would enjoy serving up there should the need arise.

For all that are interested, we will be open 9 to 3 on Monday May 30. The 3:00 close time is to allow our team to have a few hours to enjoy the holiday while taking time to remember all those who paid for our freedom.

An update to our post from yesterday, Friday; as fate would have it, we have an operational issues that will prevent us from being able to open today, Saturday 16 April. This will be fixed so we can open on Monday 18 April. Sorry for the confusion, and again Happy Easter.

Just a heads up; we will be closing early on Saturday 16 April and remain closed Sunday for Easter. We will be back at it at 8am Monday morning. We hope that everyone will have a prayerful and peaceful Easter.

St Patrick's day is quickly approaching. Again, this year we will be offering our ever popular Corned Beef & Cabbage Dunn's way as well as a Banger's & Mashed plate along with our original Beef & Blarney hot roast beef sandwich. Lastly, in case you were wondering, there will of course be beer specials featuring Guinness, Smithwicks and LP's Irish Red draft.
It all starts this Thursday at 11:00am at the conclusion of our breakfast service.
We hope you can join us and don't forget to wear your green!

I have free firewood for anyone that would like to cut and haul it away. Two trees, downed by the wind are waiting for someone to come and cut them down.
