It was so great to see so many of you yesterday! We are so appreciative that you chose our little corner to purchase your Mother’s Day flowers ❤️

We do not take it for granted. We love our community and we love owning a business in this community to keep it vibrant, and alive!

We will be open today, mostly self serve, from 9 to 6 if you haven’t yet had a chance to stop by and you wanted to.

The hanging baskets are getting more beautiful by the day, even though they are still young in their growth.

The 2026 Season marks the beginning of 26 years of serving our Community by providing veggies, home grown flowers and now grass fed beef.

We do not take it for granted that there are so many places to purchase flowers and veggies, that so many of you choose to support our farm stand and efforts to serve our Barnet Community.

It is more than just a "JOB" for us, and way more than just a way for us to make a "living".... though those things are vital for us to continue in business, we truly look at Somers Family Farm Stand as a labor of love and service to keep local business alive in our community, owned and operated by a multi-generational local farmer who's family has vested so much in this Community over the years! It is such an honor to be a part of that!

This has been a very tough few years for us with transitions from Dairy to flowers, veggies, and beef... and then Kathy's recent cancer diagnosis...

Thank you ALL for your continued support as we enter year 26! Brian a 4th generation BARNET farmer in this very same community, His grandparents began so many years ago... I think that is so special that He is still carrying on the Somers Family Heritage... I, for one, am so thankful to be able to be a part of that!

This year, the beauty of the flowers deserves a HUGE shoutout to Brian, who has been the sole caretaker and grower... He is doing it all, and I could not be prouder of Him! My job this summer is to begin the healing process and get back on my feet physically...

Cancer tried to take so much from us, but God won that battle, and we are in faith moving forward, the very best we can!

We hope you will LOVE all the beautiful flowers this year and (we have some pretty special new exciting offerings! Also, veggies that are growing and will be on the farm stand shelf before you know it!
