Been doing a lot of thinking this morning about corporations, and big box stores really take a tool on the little guys. Was walking around the store admiring everyone’s work that they put their heart and souls into. Here are some examples
Mums and plants: sure you can go to Walmart or Home Depot to maybe save $1, but do they make sure that they are watered and taken care of every single day even come down on days they are not open to take care of plants?
Need a fall outfit for your daughter? Why run to TJ maxx when you can get a one of a kind from Amazing Grace Boutique LLC
Funny farmer or chicken shirts? Yeah tractor supply might have them, but do you want to be the same as everyone else, or stand out with a creative design from Paige Whittemore
Sending someone a card? What’s one more meaningful, one you stopped at $1 general for or one that someone made?
A homemade baby quilt for a baby shower? I know I loved the ones given to be from this store.
Candles from 802Candleworks or yours truly that were made from love and not just shipped to bath and body works??
Spend shipping on Amazon for earrings when we have the best earring around from Abigail York and Cassandra and many others.
Why are we going to hannafords for meat, canned items, vanilla extract, and maple syrup when you can get it all here from very LOCAL people.
Fall centerpieces that everyone has the same of because we all go to Hobby lobby or unique, one-of-a-kind fall Thanksgiving, or Halloween one from Susan Palmer Chase, old thyme memories, or Tammy.
We have so many unique hand made gifts and all of our vendors including us would love the support. So please before you go to a box store remember us little guys

I would also like to shout out Emma’s Place up the road at the Berlin mall. Emma and Lainey are my beautiful goddaughters and their mom is one of our best friends. The have the best selection of kids clothes. Even better most of them are bamboo!! I cannot wait to dress my baby up in all of the cute clothes I got from there. And what’s even better they are all one of a kind design!! So get up to the mall, and remember to stop there before you go looking at Walmart. They also have many unique gifts and items in there too!
