The Butcher is Back-Grand Opening April 7th, join us for our celebration!
The butcher is back in Barrington at the site of the former Persimmon Provisions, 338D County Road. The store is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm beginning April 3, 2018. The only butcher in the East Bay, Barrington Butchery provides quality meats, cheeses, and specialty items to the East Bay community and beyond. With a focus on local customers, New England based products and a store that feels like home, Barrington Butchery is a family run business ready to serve you.
Co-founders are butcher Mike McKeever of Warwick and Chef Larry Russolino of Portsmouth. Mike grew up in his family-owned IGA in Warwick, McKeever’s Market, where he learned the trade from the professional butchers. After the family store was sold, Mike went into retail meat cutting at a large supermarket chain. It has been his dream to have a shop of his own. The dream lives on for Mike’s partner too, his father in-law, Larry Russolino. Larry is a graduate of the first culinary class at Johnson & Wales University. When customers stop in to Barrington Butcher, they can ask Chef Larry about preparations for any of quality products we sell.
Our Products include certified angus beef, freshly ground beef, grade a free range chickens, ground turkey, pork, sausages, specialty meats upon request like lamb, veal, duck, turkeys, quail, or whatever you desire. We are also specializing in gift baskets and freshly prepared cheese boards with artisan cheeses and an array of condiments. Check out our individual packets of cold cuts, premium pasta and sauces, olive oils, mustards, jams, and crackers.
