Born into a Cajun family and growing up in South Louisiana you learn many sayings unique to the area & culture. In Cajun Country, "Down the Bayou" simply means "South". The saying is used in numerous ways during conversation with family & friends - from giving directions to simply telling someone that you're headed home for the evening. So, in honor of my heritage, I decided "Down The Bayou" was t

he perfect name. Now, on to the good stuff, Down The Bayou spice blends are made with all natural ingredients. They contain no preservatives & no fillers, just a perfectly balanced blend of spices producing that great flavor of South Louisiana. Using professional methods we're able to maintain that same great taste from can to can, providing a product that you can count on for all of your culinary adventures. Currently, Down The Bayou offers 4 unique spice blends: Cajun Spice, French Bread Seasoning, Blackening Spice, & Cajun Sweetness. Each blend is endorsed by one our family's canine companions. Our dogs are a big part of our lives and it seemed only right to include them as our "Board of Directors". Please go meet them in the photo portion of this page.
