Empowered Women This organization if for women. For years I had a dream of doing seminars to help other women and this year I am putting my dream into motion.

Ladies I started this page several years ago and haven’t followed through on my intentions for it.
I want to share and lift each other up here. Applaud each other’s successes and lift each other when we fall.

Most people aren’t aware March is women’s history month. Today listening to s talk radio show. I learned that it was 1988 when we were legally allowed to start a business without a man! Yes you read that right! Now we are building business faster than any demographic.
We can do whatever we put our minds to.

Share something you have had success accomplishing. Let’s let out lights of success shine.
Maybe another woman reading can gain encouragement or the inspiration to stir her to do something she has been apprehensive about. there may be someone that has questions how you did it and we can help each other.

So let’s talk ladies, what are you proud of accomplishing or have overcome???

As ladies from time to time we jokingly sayi things that are not kind about what we see as our flaws. We may joke about our weight or looks or abilities. But would we do the same to our closest friends and family, no because we wouldn’t hurt their feelings or put them down even jokingly. So why do it to ourselves we are just as valuable. And do the things we see as flaws really make us who we are? Think of your loved ones...do you love them because they are pretty, the perfect size, or never make mistakes? Do we even think of anything of the sort when they come to mind? No we think of the fun times we have with them, their warm heart, how great a person they are...do the same with yourself

Holiday times are great for most, but sometimes it means depression and loneliness.
I have been there.
You try to push through and put your “face” on to face the world but once home it’s hard to pull yourself from the bed at times.
Motivation and initiative have flown the coop. You tell yourself tomorrow I am goi g to do this or that, but every task seems grand.
When it feels this way one tiny step is progress. If you have to do the dishes, break it in steps and acknowledge or celebrate each step as you get it done.
Example
1. Gather dirty dishes
2. Empty dishwasher
3. Run water
4. Wash glasses/cups
5. Wash plates

And so on.

Even if you just manage to get up and do step one then go back to bed feel proud but tell yourself in 30 minutes I have to do another step...gradually you will feel better doing more than a step at a time.

I plan to hold a one day seminar on Budgeting-saving and stretching your money. I will share info on cutting bills, saving on groceries, and dining out. Also how to get free things

When times are hardest is when you break through is "nearest", hold tight don't fold before all unfolds..you will shine and stand proud in the end.

Never feel guilty about taking care of yourself first. If you are not your best, you can't be of real help to anyone else. Take care of your loved ones by taking care of you first, so you can be the best you.
