Yes, my husband took me to Paris… Paris, Texas that is. 😂🤠❤️
A quick trip turned into a whole lot of miles to pick up a new hay trailer for the farm. But somewhere between home and Paris, it became a trip we really enjoyed.
Miles of good talks, dreaming up future farm plans, talking about where we’re headed, and just enjoying the time together. ❤️
But we also saw something that was hard to ignore—mile after mile of Texas farmland hurting from the drought. Pastures dried up, farmers struggling to hold onto their herds, and land that once grew crops or grazed cattle now covered in solar farms.
Farming in Texas isn’t easy right now. A lot of families are trying their best to hang on, invest in the future, and keep doing what generations before them have done—all while looking toward the sky and praying God sends the rain. 🙏🏼🌧️
We went after a hay trailer, but came home even more thankful for our farm, our cattle, the future we’re working toward, and the life God has blessed us with.
And we really did enjoy our little trip to Paris. 😂❤️
