Wild Root Food Collective We strive to bring a sense of place to our local plate. By supporting our area's best practice local farmers.

Our mission is to build a local food system for the Great Lakes Bay region, that celebrates and supports our areas organic and all natural farmers, while nourishing our community, environment and economy. Our vision is to transform the Great Lakes Bay region into a premier hub where local farmers, impassioned chefs and creative entrepreneurs collaborate to build a vibrant food culture. We believe

this local food movement is best achieved by the successful execution of the following:
(1) Establishing deep-rooted connections between local farmers and their consumers by means of farm dinners, an online marketplace, transportation, logistics and marketing
(2) Promoting healthy lifestyles by educating consumers of the benefits of local fresh and organic foods and via the delivery of fresh food boxes to business and residential locations
(3) Alleviate hunger through sustained contribution to local charities and partnerships with local food banks
