The Lake Superior fisheries remains strong as reported by Great Lakes Fishery Commission. Harvests have risen since the pandemic when many fish went unharvested, allowing the fish to grow in size and numbers. Come in and pick up your choice of fresh, frozen or smoked fish at the Fish House Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Lake Superior continues to support stable, healthy commercial fisheries for lake trout, lake whitefish and cisco. The Lake Superior Technical Committee reported on total pounds of harvest from sport and commercial fisheries from all around the lake. Harvest of lake trout and whitefish has increased since 2020. The impact of the historic cisco year class in 2022 is yet to be fully seen in the Lake Superior fishery.

FRESH FISH! It’s been 3 weeks since the last boat lifts came in, and now we have fresh fish from under the ice. Whitefish, Lake Trout and Burbot are available at The Fish House Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Plenty of freshly made smoked fish spread ready for the Big Game as well. Looking forward to seeing you!
