Our first harvest of 2026 is officially gone, and my heart is so full! Every single jar of The Gilded Hive's honey found a home today, and I couldn't be more grateful.
To my returning customers — your loyalty means the world to me. You keep coming back, and that tells me everything. To our new friends who found us for the first time today — welcome to the hive! I hope that first taste of raw, local honey is just the beginning.

Did you know...
Honeybees love flowers, but they also love tallow trees, pine trees, goldenrod....all the big name allergens. When your allergies start acting up around spring and fall, its typically because of the pollen from these types of plants are acting as foreign invaders to your immune system and your body goes into fight mode.

A spoonful of local honey daily can help to prepare your immune system for the sudden overflow of pollen release. Raw, unfiltered honey is best because it contains thousands of pollen molecules that microdose your immune system. This allows your body to see friend, not foe, when allergy season kicks up.

Our honey is local to Evangeline Parish and is centrally located to both forest and fields. We plant wildflowers, roses, salvia and a number of other flowering plants in our yard. This makes a complex honey that's as floral as sweet.

It's been a slow process, but we are almost ready to launch The Gilded Hive Honeyworks. The hive is still buzzing and we're working to bottle up the golden goodness before the next honeyflow.
