Bayville Neighbors- Unfortunately a family in our community has suffered a horrible tragedy, the complete loss of their home to a fire. Thankfully everyone got out safely, but they have lost everything that was in their home as well as the house itself. They are in a safe location now, but we are going to work to get them any and everything they need to start the process of rebuilding their lives.

The Bayville Deli (across from the fire department) will be the drop point for anyone interested in donating. Just tell them you’re dropping off for Bayville Cares and they will safely store your donation whether it be a gift card or clothing in designated boxes. We will then pick up and drop to the family on a daily basis or as donations come in. The Bayville Deli is open from 7am to 9pm for drop offs, and we are so thankful to the Florio family for opening its doors to help this effort. We are collecting the following for the family:

1- American Express Gift Cards
2- Any retail clothing store gift card
3- Local Supermarket or restaurant gift cards
4- Clothing for the following sizes-
Girl size 2t or 3t- Shoe size Toddler 7
Boy size 3t - shoe size 9
Boy size 5/6 - shoe size 11
Man size large or xl shirts
Woman size medium pants and shirts.

In addition to regularly sanitizing all of our frequently touched surfaces every 30 mins to help stop the spread we are taking it to the next level. To ensure our customers and our safety from the Covid-19 outbreak we had our entire location professionally sanitized and will continue this until we get threw this pandemic. Our number one priority is to keep everyone that visits our location safe. We thank everyone’s support during this stressful time. We hope everyone is staying safe and let’s stop the spread together. Over the weekend we donated breakfast for the second time for our frontline heros at Glen Cove Hospital. We thank you for your services and all that you do everyday to get everyone through this.
