Bear River Farm Bear River Farm is a "Minnesota Grown" farm and a member of the Minnesota Farmers Union. Synthetic fertilizers or pesticides are never used.

Bear River farm is a small farm located in remote northern Minnesota, tucked into the edge of the woods where the nearby Sturgeon River and the Bear River greet one another. Mostly, the focus is growing garlic, but also growing a variety of cold hardy greens- lettuce, chard, kale. Always starting with certified organic and heirloom seeds, practice crop rotation, composting, incorporate green manur

es, and picking weeds with our hands. Bear River Farm recognizes the need to support pollinators, working to preserve habitat and use pollinator friendly best practice farming methods.
