Holiday hours!

Christmas Eve: We will be on call for pickups until 3pm.

New Years Eve: On call for pickups until 3pm.

*Heads up that we are returning to our normal work hours. Those hours consist of us working until the days animals are processed. This means we will no longer be permanently in the shop until 4:30pm. As always, call ahead to schedule your pickups, (608)459-0716.

Due to us being almost at capacity, whole deer intake will end at 5pm, instead of 6pm, starting Tuesday. Wednesday and Friday will also end at 5pm as well.
Reminder that we are closed for whole-carcass intake on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day.

Good morning Hunters!

We are fully prepared to start taking deer immediately. The fastest turnaround possible is our goal so please plan on picking up your meat within a day of our completion call. If you happen to only be in the area for the weekend, please let us know so we can work on your venison immediately and send it back with you.

Throughout Tuesday afternoon, we'll have people at the shop for intake from dawn to well past dusk.
Tuesday evening into Wednesday, whole deer intake will stop at 6pm.
Thursday, Thanksgiving day, we will be closed.
Friday through Sunday, we will resume with intakes stopping at 6pm.

It is our fervent hope to keep taking venison the whole 9-day but please keep watchful of this page for any and all updates.

New this year, is our hope in creating a smoother drop-off. For this to work, we are asking you to pull in the school house driveway only. Wait your turn until drop-off and then exit using the driveway in front of the shop.

Reminder, that we are now implementing a field dressing fee of $20 for any deer still containing organs. This includes bladder, a**s, colon, etc. Having your deer field dressed properly keeps our system moving at a much faster pace and keeps your venison the quality meat it is.

Attention Hunters!

Effective immediately starting November 1st, we will be adding a field dressing fee to all whole carcass deer that enter our shop that still contain any entrails. This will include re**um, colon, bladder, etc.

This fee will cost $20 and be added to the total of your bill.

We have made this decision to protect the quality of all deer that enter the shop.

To avoid this fee, please ensure all of the above parts are removed and your deer is properly field dressed. We also reserve the right to refuse any deer that are spoiled and unsalvagable per our discretion.

As always, we look forward to helping you with your final chapter of a successful hunt.

Welcome to Bow Season 2025!

All of last year's information, prices and processes will remain the same as last year. However, heads up that venison sausage product batches will be very limited in this early season due to our normal schedule of beef and hogs still being a priority.

$130/deer- includes skinning, standard cuts and bagged trim.

$150/deer- includes skinning, standard cuts and burger. Each deer is ground through individually so you will only receive your own venison back.

$40- Caping

In the early season it is imperative to the quality of your venison to get it on ice as soon as possible.We are available at all odd hours to take in your deer and promptly get it in the cooler with a phone call.

Good morning hunters!

We will be taking whole-carcass deer all season long minus Thanksgiving day.
This weekend we'll be available 9am to dusk for drop-offs. Turnaround time can be fairly quick so plan on no more than a day or two. Our ability to serve everyone relies heavily on fast pickups and last year you guys were amazing! Do not be afraid to let us know if you plan on heading back home at a certain time and wish to take your venison with you. We are happy to adjust

Prices remain the same as bow season:
$130- Skinning, all standard cuts, bagged trim.
$150- Skinning, all standard cuts, burger.
*Reminder that we only process one deer at a time including grinding. You will only get your own venison back.
$40- Caping

The quality and quantity of your meat starts in the field. Remove all entrails and prop open hind legs to get the cooling process started immediately.

Thanks to the impending cold temperatures, we have decided to shut down for Thanksgiving so we can celebrate with family. We hope that everyone understands and has a joyful day as well. Family is everything!

Today is the day Archery hunters and we are looking forward to helping you with the last step.

Our shop is prepared to be taking whole carcass deer all season long. Over the course of this weekend, give us a call as a heads-up and we'll be available for drop-off. In the following weeks we will be in the shop most days but it is always best to call first. We understand that in this early season where days can often be quite warm, it is essential to get your deer somewhere cool quickly so don't hesitate to contact us late in the evening.

Our prices for this season:
$130- All desired cuts, trim bagged and frozen.
$150- All desired cuts, burger in 1 # tubes (*REMINDER: each deer is ground separately; guaranteeing you will only get the venison back that you brought us) and frozen.
$40- Caping
