Despite the extreme heat, I should have turnip greens and turnips before too long.

Homegrown and never sprayed with chemicals or pesticides.

Time honored traditions didn't disappoint this past weekend.

4 generations of Outdoorsman are represented in this picture. Ages range from 5 years old to nearly 80 and still going strong.

Spending time outdoors is a great way to remove oneself from the everyday hustle of life. Slowing down long enough to enjoy mother nature and all it has to offer. No city lights, television and very little cell service make for a great weekend.

But then, it all ends too quick and you have to return to the grind.

We will be reopen this Friday at 9am till 5pm and Saturday 9-2.
