Not only is this just a hop, skip & jump from the farm stand, but it’s a historic site near and dear to our hearts, as the Hancock family has been privileged to grain farm part of the original farm property.

The history here, the dark and the light, will be preserved, shared, and passed on. The Historical Society of Charles County, Inc. has done a phenomenal job with telling the story of Rich Hill.

Maybe we will see you there on Saturday, or during their visiting hours!

Step back 250 years at A 250th Celebration: Living History at Rich Hill! 🇺🇸

Join the Historical Society of Charles County and the Friends of Rich Hill this Saturday, July 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Historic Rich Hill for a day packed with history and family fun. Watch the First Maryland Regiment of the Continental Line bring the American Revolution to life with reenactments and demonstrations, tour the historic Rich Hill house, explore colonial toys, and meet costumed characters portrayed by the Port To***co Players. Enjoy live colonial music from Rosewood Colonial Music and The Bushmill Band, tasty bites from Judy's Food Express, and a taste of Rich Hill's Revolutionary Ale, specially brewed by Mully's Brewery. Bring the whole family and celebrate 250 years of American history!

The honor Farmstand is OPEN but you might notice that it is empty in the middle of the day… while the heat is very high we are taking the produce up to preserve freshness. We’ll be bringing it back out to the honor stand by 4pm daily so the produce can be out of the sun.

This will also allow us to streamline our inventory keeping it as fresh as possible and hopefully reduce waste as well.

The garden is rocking and rolling; thanks for your continued support!!! We love growing for our neighbors and friends.

There are verrrrrry limited cauliflower left, and then we won’t have any more until autumn!!

But we’ll have LOTS of other produce because summer veggies are just starting to really show out ❤️‍🔥
