Dear Belle Chasse,

Our Breaux Mart Belle Chasse family is deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Thomas Jackson at the age of 79.

"Jackson" was part of the Belle Chasse store family for more than three decades. He began working as a stocker at Balestra’s Grocery Store in 1991 and remained with the store when it became Breaux Mart in 2022. He continued working alongside us until his passing.

For generations of customers, coworkers and families in Belle Chasse, Jackson was much more than an employee. He was a familiar face, a dependable friend and an important part of a neighborhood store that has always felt like family.

We are grateful for his many years of hard work, loyalty and friendship. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Please keep Jackson's family, his friends and his coworkers in your thoughts and prayers.

Services will be held Saturday, August 1st, at 10am, located at St. Luke Baptist Church, 2736 Valence Street, New Orleans, LA 70115.
