The Greedy Ant Gourmet The Greedy Ant is a specialty food shop featuring fine cheese, charcuterie, sandwiches, and epicurean foods from around the world.

The Greedy Ant‘s mission is to provide the San Francisco Peninsula with top quality, hard-to-find, gourmet products such as European cheeses, charcuterie, pastas, oils, vinegars, olives, and more with a focus on superior level customer service. We also will include a small foodservice sector with sandwiches made from our fine products in store. Unlike the large grocery chains, The Greedy Ant will

offer personalized service. Cheeses and meats will be available for sampling and then hand cut and wrapped to order, sandwiches made to order. Service will be one-on-one, with associates having deep knowledge of the products and their producers. We strive for an “old school” style of service. The Greedy Ant will be a good community asset, often offering locally made products and partnering with local farmer’s markets. Our foodservice sector will offer menu items friendly to local parks and customers “on the go”, and will ensure our prices offer access to customers on all economic levels. Gourmet food in the Bay Area is an ever expanding category. While San Francisco remains the epicenter of this movement, there is little doubt the Peninsula holds a high number of consumers wanting these products. Like our motto says: “Make everyday a picnic!”
