These are so stunning when you get them right, but lots of moving parts. Keeping the rich red color even, the pattern clean, dark black undercoat, the type solid and not letting the wings get long and lose has us running in circles but every year we see the line evolve alittle and it keeps it fun.

2026 NPIP inspection passed, Thank you Ryan for putting so many hours to get everything ready.

As CSU pulled out of the driveway I started putting together a few new breeding pens. With this heat we arnt getting a ton of eggs but we have a few projects I would like to make some headway on. I am really excited about the black pullets from this year. Still lots of things to improve but finally seeing them come together. I found a really wide cockerel with a very nice crest that we will start off with.
