Wendell Berry’s life of advocacy and big thinking ended yesterday, but his influence will carry for generations. Our little food hub takes inspiration from Mr.Berry and is proud to be a bit counter culture—because that culture of big business and anonymity isn’t sustainable for any of us.

Instead, we are investing in our rural communities because they are the heartbeat of America; because we believe knowing where your food comes from is the safer bet in the long run. Remember the words of Mr. Berry and make your food choices well because “eating is an agricultural act.”
