DELI special/ CAVE CITY MELONS/Gorgeous Produce! MILK HERE! Strawberry milk is back!

I did miss that truck cutoff for grocery inventory, BUT! We have some beautiful veggies in here and 100 cave city melons! OLD MILL BREAD delivery by noon on Thursday!

Next week we double down the order and we will be packed out with inventory!

I would like to mention, as we get into fall/winter, that’s where we (obviously) struggle some/ we will deviate from summer produce to relying heavy on meal options in the DELI, take home meals, and local meat cuts such as roasts.. I love my crew and don’t want to cut hours, so think of us when there is a nip in the air, too!

You guys are absolutely incredible:

I thought I’d get a few interested folks in the position to help me get things organized, and instead I have a full inbox of interested people, folks offering to volunteer, sweet messages of inspiration… it’s so good to know that y’all are behind us! Applications will be at the counter for the part time secretary position, it’ll take me a while to go thru the messages and applications.

As the last post stated, I missed a key cutoff for Walnut Creek last week, which means no truck this week for restock. The store will look bare on the grocery side, butters, bacon, etc… but I will have a large order placed this week to deliver next Tuesday.

We still plan to get all the wonderful produce we can, the deli may be out of certain meats (until the truck comes) although I do believe Larry has some special lunch plates coming up!

Thanks for having my back in a weak moment or three, it’ll get better!❤️‍🩹

I am trying.

I missed a cutoff for Walnut Creek order, and others.

I’ve been pretty overwhelmed and feel like I’m on autopilot.

I’m sorry the store is slacking on inventory.. that’s my fault/ I have so much I’m juggling. Our customers deserve better..

I’m actually looking for a right-hand person to help me with ordering, payroll, scheduling and filing.

A secretary of sorts… I don’t need a fulltime person; just a couple days a week to get used to the flow. I simply cannot juggle everything.

To our customers/ please bear with me. Running this place has always been tough, now that I do everything, it’s tougher!
