🌱 Meet Your Local Vendors: Church House Coffee 🌱

Meet Tom and Amber Deaver of Church House Coffee Company, a family-run, faith-based business out of Avilla, Arkansas. With two children and four grandchildren (who lovingly call them Mimi and Papa Cheeze), their business is rooted in faith, family, and a passion for serving their community.

Church House Coffee offers fresh roasted coffee, available in whole bean or ground, along with espresso and coffee-based drinks. They’ve been roasting coffee for about three years and recently expanded their offerings by adding a drink menu in 2025.

What started as a small drop-shipping idea quickly turned into something much bigger. After realizing they could roast coffee themselves, Tom took a leap of faith—buying a book, a small roaster, and teaching himself the craft. From there, the business grew through encouragement from their church community, friends, and customers who couldn’t get enough of their coffee.

Their favorite part of being a vendor? The people. They love the relationships built at the farmers market—getting to know customers by name, seeing familiar faces each week, and being part of something bigger than just a transaction. To them, shopping local means supporting one another and strengthening the community they’re proud to be part of.

A fan favorite you won’t want to miss: their El Salvador Espresso Blend. It’s smooth, rich, and full of chocolatey flavor with no bitter aftertaste—perfect whether you’re sipping it black or enjoying it in one of their espresso drinks.

🌱 Meet Your Local Vendors: Ouachita River Valley Farm 🌱

Meet the Meredith family — Lester, Rebekah, and Lee — of Ouachita River Valley Farm, based out of Donaldson, Arkansas! This family-run farm is rooted in a love for community, hard work, and growing fresh, quality products for their neighbors.
At the market, you’ll find a variety of fresh vegetables, herbs, and plants, all grown with care. They’re especially known as “the pepper people” because of the many different varieties of peppers they grow — a must-see if you love a little spice in your life!
Ouachita River Valley Farm was built on a passion for community and connection, which continues to inspire their work as local vendors. Lester brings years of experience to the farm, including being an 18-year member of the Master Gardeners Program — a true testament to their knowledge and dedication.

What they love most about being part of the farmers market is the people — especially the repeat customers — and the strong sense of community among fellow vendors. To them, shopping local means supporting small businesses and strengthening the local economy, something they’re proud to both practice and promote.

🌱 Meet Your Local Vendors: Guthrie Farm and Garden 🌱
Meet Becky Guthrie of Guthrie Farm and Garden! Located right here in Benton, Becky and her husband run a small six-acre hobby farm built around faith, family, and a love for simple, wholesome living. After retiring from careers in education, they embraced a homesteading lifestyle and haven’t looked back.
At the market, Guthrie Farm and Garden offers a little bit of everything — handcrafted goat milk soap, fresh garden vegetables grown in Benton, freshly canned goods, farm-fresh chicken and duck eggs, and a variety of garden and house plants. Their farm focuses on raising animals and growing food as organically as possible.
Becky’s business began with making goat milk soap for her own family as a natural alternative to store-bought products. Before long, friends and customers were asking for more, and what started as a small experiment quickly grew into a thriving local business.
What Becky loves most about being a vendor is the atmosphere — friendly customers, meaningful conversations, and the sense of stepping back into a simpler time where community truly matters. And a fun fact: their ducks are full of personality and firmly believe they run the farm!

Meet Brenda Mills of Brenda’s Bucket and Barn! Brenda brings handmade quilts to the farmers market, sharing a craft that’s rooted in care, creativity, and tradition.

While she keeps things simple, Brenda’s love for shopping local and supporting fellow vendors is at the heart of what she does. Her quilts reflect the time and attention that go into handmade work — pieces meant to be used, loved, and appreciated.

Meet Allen and Pam Henson, the duo behind Rustic Wood! This husband-and-wife team brings new life to old materials by repurposing and recycling wood furniture into one-of-a-kind wood pieces, while also creating unique handmade jewelry.

Rustic Wood grew from a love of working farmers markets and connecting with the community. For Allen and Pam, being a local vendor is all about meeting families, friends, and new faces each week and sharing their passion for creating something special.

They love experimenting with new ideas and enjoy making pieces that are a little different — always aiming to create something truly unique for their customers.

Opening day vibes were in full swing this past Saturday, and WOW—what a difference a little sunshine makes! ☀️

Our vendors absolutely showed out with incredible, high-quality products (as always), and our community came ready to in the best way. There’s nothing better than seeing familiar faces, building new relationships, and supporting the amazing people who pour so much time, love, and care into what they create.

We’re so grateful for each vendor and every single person who comes out to support the Farmers Market—it truly means everything. 💛

And thanks to Card My Yard Benton for the awesome signage!
