Hey everyone! 👋 Wow, it's been way too long since we posted—life got busy, but the flock has been keeping things exciting!

Introducing our newest little lady: Delilah! She's a gorgeous Rhode Island Red who joined us right around Christmas. She came all the way from Myrtle Beach, so she definitely had quite the adventure of surviving her first Ohio winter. 🐔❄️

She's tiny compared to the rest of the crew—check out this photo of her with Bert behind her. Talk about a size difference! She's so petite, but don't let that fool you... she's got the biggest personality. Super sweet, loves people, and she's always the first one sprinting over to greet us when we come out with treats. ❤️

And get this—for those of you who buy our eggs: Delilah is laying the BIGGEST brown eggs you've ever seen! They're noticeably larger than the other hens', to the point that the carton doesn't even close properly anymore. Fresh, jumbo-sized goodness straight from the coop!
So happy to have this little sweetheart in the family. More updates (and probably more egg pics) coming soon! 🥚💕

🌾 Exciting News from Our Wee Farms! 🍞

I’ve had several requests for a gluten-free sourdough loaf, and I’m thrilled to take on the challenge! I’m starting a gluten-free sourdough starter today, using the best ingredients possible, including filtered water. Since our grain mill is dedicated to gluten flours, I’ll be using high-quality store-bought gluten-free flours for now, but I’ll keep experimenting to perfect the recipe. It’s a learning curve, but I’m determined to get it right for you! Check the attached photo of my starter kickoff! ✨

As for pricing, once I’ve mastered the recipe (likely in a few weeks), we're looking at $13 per loaf. This reflects the premium gluten-free flours and my time to develop the process. I might adjust based on feedback—let me know what you think! Stay tuned for updates, and feel free to order our regular sourdough ($10) or specialties ($12) by this Friday PM for Monday pick-up. DM us, and we’ll reply as soon as we can! 💚

🐔 Exciting News from Our Berea, Ohio Homestead! 🌿

Our chickens have finally started laying eggs last week – a big milestone for our homestead journey! While these eggs aren’t quite ready for sale yet (the girls' reproductive systems are still maturing, so the eggs are smaller than normal, but still delicious), we’re thrilled and look forward to sharing the eggs with you in the future. Check out the attached photos: Adam holding our very first egg laid last week (it was yummy!) and our first tiny almost dozen! 🥚✨
