Cedar Rail Orchards Heirloom Apples We grow goodness…! Forty varieties of American Heirloom Apples plus pears and chestnuts. Fresh pressed apple cider and kettle made apple butter in season.

Typically available August through November. Call John anytime during the beautiful Missouri Fall weather at 636-388-2025 and come pick your own apple goodness in our orchards. Twenty six varieties of apples ripening from August through early December. We will have fresh apple cider, apple butter and chestnuts right off the trees in season.

I cannot seem to stop... New early ripening apples planted today. Summer Rambo trees (ripe in August)--A French Apple grown since the 1500's in Europe and ranked as the best tasting apple in the world the past 200 years. There will be a new full row low on the hill of only EARLY ripening apples. All will be Heirloom but all ripe early. I want to make cider and apple butter in June-July-August...

Fire blight control with my #1 orchard helper. I reacted instead of "proacting"... Next season I will do better. Worst ever fire blight (bacterial infection) here--probably due to rain humidity and too warm spring weather.

These are our "off grid" apple tools. No power--no issues these will be pulled out of the shed. The Bonanza (apple peeler corer) made in New Hampshire by the Goodell Company is a hundred and fifty years old and it's awesome. Probably made in the 1870's or earlier. These are hard to find complete with all parts and in good shape after 150+ years. LIKE..! Lucky to have found this Bonanza..!
