Willow Creek will remain open all throughout the construction along WIS 21.

From WIS 49: the barrier at the Four Corners is passable. From Oshkosh/Omro: take Cottonville Ct. to 32nd Ave. But no semi trucks, please.

We will have fresh curds on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. They will be ready at 9am. Our store hours will be 6am to 3pm.

We will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

It is with great sadness that Union Star Cheese Factory announces the unexpected loss of Dave and Jan Metzig.

Dave and Jan bought the factory in 1980 with dreams of running their own business. With much support from community and family through out the years, it is a staple within the local and cheese communities. They made it their mission to serve others in many special places. They will be deeply missed here and throughout all of the lives they touched.

The factory will remain open in the midst of this difficult time. We will have adjusted hours to give our family of employees an opportunity to attend services in honor of Dave and Jan.

On March 25, 2023 we will be open at 6am and closing at 12pm. Normal hours will resume on Sunday, March 26th.

As we navigate the next few weeks and months ahead, we want to assure you that Union Star and Willow Creek Cheese will continue to offer you the same great cheese, service and commitment. Jon Metzig is now the 4th generation Metzig to own and manage the factory. Your support is much appreciated in this time as well.

We are thankful for the continued outpouring of love for our family during this difficult time. We wish to share and comfort you with this piece of scripture:
