Das Marit Farmers and Artists Market just completed its 17th season serving local farmers/gardeners, artisans, and the public. It takes many people to make a market like this successful—volunteers who help in many areas; vendors who make, bake, or grow their items they offer for sale; and customers who support the vendors through their purchases.

Because of these three groups of people, Das Marit was able to make donations to several ministries in the community such as The Hope Clinic, Compassionate Ministries, Agape Respite Care, LifeWise SA, and LifeWise AC. If you had any part of the market, THANK YOU for making these donations possible.

How will you spend this Saturday morning?

Here’s an idea:
•Go to Das Marit farmers and artists market
•Look at all the vendors’ goodies
•Make purchases of perhaps some greeting cards, a bib for a baby gift, an original painting, a pair of earrings, a bouquet of fresh flowers
•Also purchase cookies to share with a friend, a mini pie for later, cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Sunday, and bread for lunch on Sunday
•You may get pretty hungry with all the shopping so why not enjoy a fresh Belgian waffle and top with strawberries, syrup, & whipped cream
•Visit the booth that offers prayer for that special concern or to praise God for his love and mercy
•And, of course, see and talk to friends, families, neighbors. You may even make some new friends, too!

How does all that sound for a Saturday morning?!?
