March 14, May 9, July 11, September 12, November 14 Thank you for your interest in Berwick Farmer’s Market.

The Market will be open for business on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Our objective is to promote local farmers, fishermen and artisans and give them the opportunity to provide our citizens with fresh, local products and handmade items.

🌸 TWENTY-SEVEN VENDORS… yes, 27 vendors are ready for y’all tomorrow at the Berwick Town Market! 🌸

And before anybody starts side-eyeing the weather forecast 👀☔️
We are absolutely not worried about the weather!

Our Market is nestled comfortably under the bridge with covered parking, so there’s no reason to shy away from a morning of shopping small and supporting local! ❤️

This month’s market is packed with both familiar favorites and exciting new faces! We’ll have everything from:

🌷 Fresh flower bouquets
🥚 Farm fresh eggs
🍋 Fresh lemonade
🍿 Kettle corn
🧁 Sweets & treats
🪴 Plants
🎨 Handmade creations
…and so much more!

And one vendor I especially want y’all to support is our first teen vendor of the season! 💕
Jadelynn’s Crochet will be set up in Spot 13, showing off her handmade crochet creations. Be sure to stop by and show her some love and encouragement!

This right here is why I love the Berwick Town Market so much. Because we are a market with no booth fees, we’re able to give people the opportunity to step out and pursue their small-business dreams. Some vendors are seasoned pros…and some are taking that scary first step. And honestly? That’s pretty special.

Our market is nestled under the bridge at 3rd & Lima Streets, giving you covered parking AND covered shopping no matter what the weather decides to do. Come out, stay dry, and shop to your heart's content!

We have unique, handmade, and one-of-a-kind gifts. We will also have fresh-cut flower bouquets perfect for mom and art prints dad would be happy to hang.

St. Mary Parish showed up on Saturday.

What an incredible day at the Berwick Town Market!

From the beautiful weather to the amazing vendors and everyone who came out to shop, it was truly a near-perfect Saturday.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support these small and creative businesses. Your support means so much and helps our local makers keep doing what they love.

And a big thank you to all of the vendors who showed up, shared the event, and brought such great energy to the market. You all helped make the day something really special.

We’re already looking forward to the next Berwick Town Market on May 9, and we can’t wait to see everyone again.

And I want to give a special thanks to the Berwick Police Department and Wallace Sanitation!

🏡 While you’re in town for the Berwick Town Market tomorrow, take a few minutes to step back in time.

The Berwick Heritage Museum — also known as the Brown House — will be open Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM at 3326 Third Street, just a short walk from the market.

This beautiful historic home dates back to 1893 and has been carefully preserved to help tell the story of Berwick’s past and the families who helped shape our town.

If you enjoy local history, old homes, and learning more about the place we call home, it’s definitely worth stopping by while you’re out enjoying the market.

✨ Tomorrow is Market Day in Berwick! ✨

The Berwick Town Market is happening Saturday from 9AM–1PM under the bridge at 3rd & Lima Streets, and our vendors are ready for you!

We’ve got a wonderful mix of creative makers, bakers, artists, sweet treats, lemonade, and small businesses who have been working all week getting ready for this market. These are the folks who pour their time, talent, and heart into what they create — and tomorrow they get to share it with our community.

A quick clarification about the Berwick Town Market:

I’ve seen a little confusion circulating, so I wanted to take a moment to clarify a couple things.

The Berwick Town Market does not charge vendors to participate. Our market has always been free because the goal is to give local makers, growers, and small businesses a place to shine.

However, vendors who live in St. Mary Parish and sell handmade goods are required by the parish to have a $50 occupational license. That requirement comes directly from the parish government, not the market, and it applies to anyone operating a business locally.

In addition, vendors are responsible for compliance with the St. Mary Parish Sales Tax Department, including collecting and remitting any required sales tax.

These parish requirements are listed in the vendor application so everyone understands the guidelines ahead of time.

My goal with the Berwick Town Market has always been simple:
✨ support small businesses
✨ bring people into our community
✨ create a great local market experience for everyone

This market is something I volunteer my time to organize because I believe our local businesses deserve a place to be seen and supported.

Running a market means juggling a lot of moving pieces, but supporting small businesses and our community will always be worth it.
