This week's spotlight is Sandra Kay Miller from Painted Hand Farm.

"If it has fur, feathers, fins & a face, I've bred it, raised it, caught it, killed it, cleaned it, cooked it and sold it. My experience encompasses just about every facet of the food industry from production to retail although I must admit my favorite job is Quality Control. My goal is to make a simple living from producing & selling the best meats possible and writing about it," as Sandra has said.

We are kicking off celebrating Women's History month today on International Women's Day! We will share a special feature on each of our women makers, bakers, and farmers throughout the month.

First up is Chiboo Bakery DMV and the creative founder Chelsea! She was born and raised in a foodie family from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and fell in love with the macaron for the first time.
