The Wayfare Baker The Wayfare Baker is a community supported, baking project, which participates in a community bread share, and farmers markets in the Lehigh Valley area.

Wayfare: to journey; to travel; to go to and fro. The idea of the Wayfare Baker is to travel to different towns, cities, and countries expanding the Wayfare community by bringing the knowledge and craftsmanship of artisan sourdough bread baking. And with the growth of this community; through good bread, and the knowledge of how it is made, we are able to share, learn and enjoy it together. The Way

fare Baker works in conjunction with local artisans to spread the bread through the community. Along with selling bread through the Wayfare Baker bread share where customers can buy a set number of loaves on a weekly basis.

Sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, and toasted oats. I have been working with a local wheat from western, PA recently. It tends to feel incredible while mixing, and exhibit all the right characteristics. But, when it goes through the final prove it tends to slack out. Until this time... I think I figured it out... maybe...

Good morning carb heads and dough eaters alike! I will be doing a bread pop up at Lit 610 Coffee & Bakes in Bethlehem, on February 16th. Orders must be in by February 14th.
The bread varities I will be baking for this pop up are classic sourdough, cinnamon raisin, olive rosemary, and suntava baguette.
