Our cheese of the day is Wilde Weide! Wilde Weide means “wild meadow” in Dutch. Because it is a Boerenkaas (traditional farmhouse cheese), it is made right on the farm using only milk from the van Schie family’s own micro-herd. Cheers!

we often get asked if we have any cured meats that aren’t made of pork, and the answer is yes! we’ve got a few different options for you but one of the best ones is this delicious Bresaola. It’s a lean, salt-cured, air-dried beef from Italy, known for its deep ruby-red color and sweet, musty aroma, often compared to prosciutto but made from beef. Cheers!

Mind if we talk about pasta today? We’re making handmade pasta everyday here at the store. We use Grade 1A Italian Porcini mushrooms, the best Italy has to offer. You can get very creative with sauces or stay simple with butter, freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano and cracked black pepper.
