Yellowstone Valley Farmers Market was founded in 1985, by a group of local residents who wanted a place for local farmers and growers to display and sell their produce. Since that time the market has seen steady growth and a foreign interest in quality, locally produced food. It’s time to grab your family and friends and head downtown to the YVFM!

WE LOVE DOGS… BUT PLEASE LEAVE THEM AT HOME!

Last week we saw an uptick in dogs at the market. We know your four-legged family members LOVE coming along for the fun and trust us—we love them too!

However, dogs are not allowed at the Yellowstone Valley Farmers Market due to a City of Billings ordinance stated in the image. This rule applies to all dogs, regardless of size, breed, or how friendly they are.

And honestly, it’s safer for your pups to stay home. With crowds, strollers, bikes, other animals, hot pavement, and lots of activity, the market can be an overwhelming and potentially unsafe place for them.

So, grab your market bag, your shopping list, and your humans—and leave the pups relaxing at home.
