Let the flower season commence 🌸
I don’t know about you all, but this has felt like the longest winter of my life, I am so excited to get seeds started (I’m a little behind schedule) and to start seeing 🌱!

New flowers I am trying out this year are

• celosia

Good Afternoon☀️

As the flower stand sits empty in the off-season and the holidays approach, I have been thinking about how it could still serve our community.
So, I’m turning it into a “Take What You Need, Give What You Can” space. ♥️

My hope is that it becomes a place where neighbors can support neighbors — whether it’s a few cans of soup, pasta, toiletries, or other household staples, every contribution helps!

I’d love your help getting started:

If you are willing, donations can be dropped off directly in the stand or on my porch, and I’ll organize and restock as items come in!

It’s amazing what a little vision (and a free gazebo!) can turn into 🌿

Last summer, I found this gazebo on Marketplace for 🆓 — I just had to cover the transport. While I had a different vision for it at first, it’s now becoming something even more special: my very own greenhouse

My husband worked through the winter bringing this little dream to life, and although the busyness of seed-starting season put things on pause, we’re finally back at it! Can’t wait to show you all the progress as it comes to life 🫶🏻

I’m officially wrapping up my flower season 🙃🌻

This year had its challenges — lots of storms and high winds early on made for a rough start, and I experimented with many new varieties (some I loved, some I won’t grow again!). You live and learn, and I always enjoy trying new things. 🌱

One big lesson for me is focusing more on succession planting next year so the blooms keep coming steady throughout the season.

Even with the ups and downs, I absolutely loved creating arrangements for you all — whether it was a custom order, a bouquet from the stand, or flowers for a special occasion. 💐

I wish I could’ve had the stand open more often, but sometimes the season just has its own plans. The good news? There’s always next year! 🌸

Stay tuned as I start getting the greenhouse ready for fall seed starting and prepare for a beautiful spring ahead.

Thank you for being part of this season with me — I can’t wait to share what’s next! 💕
