Taking limited pre-orders for our farm-raised Heritage Bronze turkeys, raised on pasture here with plenty of space to roam and forage.
The birds will be butchered the Saturday before Thanksgiving, then cooled and aged for a few days for tenderness and flavor.
✨ Fresh turkeys will be ready for pickup Tuesday, Nov. 25 or Wednesday, Nov. 26. If you want one for Christmas or any later holiday, they will have to be frozen.
The price this year is $6.00 per pound. The average weight of a tom (male) is 25 lbs and the young turkey hen (female) is 16 lb.
The birds aren’t brined like grocery store turkeys (so no added water weight) and are weighed without giblets. Expect a richer flavor, more dark meat, and a faster cook time, perfect for brining at home Wednesday night and roasting to golden perfection on Thanksgiving Day.
