en down? Local's Produce is a Farmer's Market on Hwy 280. We sell the produce that has been freshly picked from our farm, Sunbelt Farm, that is less than thirty minutes away in the small town of Harpersville, Alabama. Our specialty is the Alabama vine ripened tomato varieties. Some of the of larger tomato varieties we will sell are Mountain Fresh, Amelia, Red, and of course Heirloom Tomatoes that we will have later in the season. These tomatoes are big, vine ripened, and make a 'Mater Sandwich that would rival Grandma's. We also grow Cherry and Grape Tomatoes for those customers who like a sweet pleasant burst of flavor in a small, long lasting, tomato. Our farm also grows fresh yellow crookneck squash, deep purple eggplant, crispy cucumbers, and zucchini. We pick our squash when they small for the best flavor once our produce hits your pallet. When you buy our produce you can gaurantee is Farm Fresh, good for you, and good for the local economy. Our farm has implemented a Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Food Safety Plan. It allows us to make sure we are providing our customers with the safest produce in Birmingham because at the end of the day, our family eats everything off our farm, too.
