h, peas, beans, corn, etc. – all fresh and locally grown. A new farm in our area is set to participate in the Market this year, Jones Valley Urban Farm, (their gardens are on the site of the former Mt Laurel Organic Farm) – they grow only organic produce and fruits. Some of our favorite farms from Chilton and Shelby County will be back this year to participate, R & N Farms, Boozer Farms, Caver Farms, & Hooper Farm. We also have 10-15 craftsmen that bring their products to sell, hand painted wooden signs, hand carved wood items, wooden furniture, Picture frames, hand knitted items, handmade soap, paintings, photography, pottery, & glass items. We can't forget the CHEESE lady! Fresh Amish cheeses. Very family friendly, four legged friends are welcome at the Market

Hey, ya'll. Sasha will be out at the Market tomorrow with some yummy stuff. There's garden relish, a nice brandy/fig jam, basil wine jelly, something I'm forgetting, and garden relish.

I mention the garden relish twice because it is good by itself (and maybe some tortilla chips) AND it will make tuna/chicken/egg/potato salad dance a jig. You could even dress up a pork chop with it.

Hurry before this is a "See What you Missed" album.

Well folks, the Market is in full swing. We have peaches and watermelon and greens and blueberries. Local strawberries are all but gone for the year, so if you missed those, come early next year.

Not only do we have a full-tilt-boogey Farmer's Market, but you will always find amazing and interesting arts and crafts on display as well. Every single week is different. I guarantee if you miss one, you will have missed something special.

Come see us at 8am this Saturday!

We had a great Festival! The weather couldn't have been more beautiful and we had a great turnout of vendors and festival-goers.

The Market will begin (unofficially) this Saturday. The local STRAWBERRIES are coming in, and they won't wait for June! We will also have greens. Who knows what else you can find?

By the way, if you are looking for a yummy way to add more greens to your eating plan, this is a great combo. Fresh greens and fresh strawberries go very nicely together in the blender. Add ice for a cool and healthy treat!

My shadow greets you. That means SUNSHINE at the market!
