Pattypan squash get away from you? Try stuffed pattypan!

You can use any stuffed pepper recipe you find online, but here is what we did!

Cut tips and bottoms off of squash. Use a spoon to scoop out all of the seeds and hollow out the squash.

Cook 1lb ground beef, diced tomatoes, diced peppers, and fresh kale in a pan. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt. Add in parmesan cheese right before stuffing the squash.

Stuff the mixture into the squash, then cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Top with grated parmesan. Enjoy!

You can find our handcrafted goat milk soap this year at Lavender Fest 2026 hosted by Creekside Gardens & Events (event flyer in comments).

Come visit the lavender gardens and vendors, pick up some lavender products, and listen to live music. There is also so much for the kids including a petting zoo, face painting, and bounce houses.

UPDATE: As of Sunday morning there was still tomatoes, hot peppers, kale, and cleome flowers.

FREE PLANTS!

Last call before they are fed to the goats on Monday.

Please do not take the trays or go in the greenhouse!!
