2026 Main Season: May-Nov, Saturdays, 9am-12pm at 130 Montreat Rd 🌻 The Black Mountain Tailgate Market is a seasonal Saturday morning community event. In 2025 our market was voted as the #1 best farmers market in North Carolina and #7 in the nation in America's Farmers Market Celebration! We are open from May through November from 9am-12p

m during our regular season, plus spring and holiday markets too! We are a producer-only market comprised of local farmers, bakers, makers, artists, and small businesses. Our market features locally grown produce, farm fresh eggs, artisan cheeses, pastured meats, fresh cut flowers, baked goods, coffees & teas, herbal products, and much more! For 32 years the Black Mountain Tailgate Market has served as a third space for our community - where neighbors can gather under the oaks, kids can play in the Little Seed Corner, our Music at the Market program supports live musicians every Saturday, and food access initiatives support our community members and farmers. Through our Music at the Market program we are able to help support local musicians and cultivate the arts right here in our community.
