Bob has no fear of Moo. He doesn’t even budge when Moo is out there.

(Yes, I named the heron, and yes, I get worried when I don’t see him. 😂)

The pond is still very low, and honestly, I have no idea if Bob has any snacks left living in there! 🐟

I left the gate open while I went to dump the wheelbarrow. I turned around and saw Moo just standing there like the GOOD BOY he is, not even thinking about leaving the yard.

Look at him just waiting patiently like, “I know the rules, Mom.” 🥹❤️

Every once in a while, he really does make me proud. 😂

Sports and farm life… you never really know what you’re going to have to tend to when you get home from practice!

Tonight, she went out and brought in “Trouble.” And honestly, go figure… the hen that always seems to have something going on lately has a name that fits her perfectly.

Trouble got a little feather trim on her backside, followed by a nice warm spa treatment inside. 🛁🐔 Of course, she also got to enjoy some snacks while getting pampered because apparently that’s how we do things around here.

One minute we’re at softball practice, and the next we’re giving a chicken a spa day. Just another normal night around the farm! ❤️🐔🥎

🥚🐔 It’s that time of year again! 🐔🥚

The 4-H Egg Contest is coming up, which means our girls are doing their part to get those eggs ready! 🥚

Eggs will be limited until our 4-H submission has been sent in. And, of course, because chickens have impeccable timing, I also have hens molting at the absolute perfect time to line up with the 4-H egg contest. 😂🤦‍♀️🐔

So if you’re looking for eggs, hang tight with us for a little bit! Once the 4-H submission is taken care of, we’ll have more available.

Abrams just out here exploring the new “pond pasture” in progress.

Since the pond has decided it doesn’t want to stay a pond lately, we might as well put the extra space to use. The goats and chickens have been exploring.

Yesterday I got a message asking, "Hey, did you collect the eggs and feed the goats?”

Yep! Sure did. Before I even left the house.

Apparently Piper had other plans though. She started yelling at him and somehow convinced him that she had not been fed.

So yes… Piper successfully scammed her way into a second dinner. 🐐🍽️😂

I’m pretty sure she was trying to trick me too, but she forgot one important detail… I was the one who fed her already today. Nice try, Piper. 😂😂
