Today we officially finished the work on the inside of the building that will house the new Farm Market; new paint, new floors, a new freezer and cooler installed. So now I can finally get to checking in product and stocking the Market! The first little bit is here, but lots more to come!!

We have been super busy getting ready for the Market to open, but the farm is still the biggest part of the day-to-day. And at the end of every day, we take care of the animals, and get in a few snuggles with the baby goats. From left to right, meet Buttercup, Bubbles , and Blossom (who we call Bree). They are at that adorable hoppy, playful stage and are definitely a bright spot in every day!

This year, we upped our flower game a little bit. We are growing flowers inside of a tu nel and actually doing things like fertilizing, and pruning, and the flowers are really looking good. Today at Market, I got a pre-order gorgeous half a dozen bouquets for rush week, and a request to do a wedding. It's nice to see to a payoff for hard work once in a while!!

Headed out to Windchime Farmstead to learn how to process pigs. Should give us a year's worth of pork in the freezer. These girls lived their best lives out here on our farm, and had only one bad moment. This is how real food is done.
