🥩JOIN OUR TEAM🥩 - We can't keep up, please share!

We are looking for a dependable and efficient MEAT CUTTER to join us! This is an all-around position for someone who is willing to help wherever needed throughout the shop.

Previous meat-cutting, butcher-shop, grocery meat department, custom-processing, or food-production experience is preferred, but not required.

MUST BE:
▪️able to safely use knives, saws, grinders, and other equipment
▪️comfortable working in cool, wet, and fast-paced conditions
▪️punctual, reliable, and willing to work with a team
▪️able to stand for extended periods + regularly lift ~50 pounds

Block ’49 Meats is a locally owned family-run meat market and processing shop focused on quality products, dependable service, and traditional craftsmanship.

We have local farmers with beef available in the next month — perfect if you’re looking to stock your freezer with locally raised animals!

🐄 1/4, 1/2, or whole beef available
💰 $4.00/lb hanging weight
⚖️ Average animal weight: 800–900 lbs hanging weight
🔪 $1.00/lb processing at Block ’49 Meats
📦 Processing includes vacuum sealing + custom cutting exactly how you want it!

How it works:
The farmer sells you the beef directly, and we’ll take care of the processing here at Block ’49 Meats. We cannot sell you the animal directly, but we can put you in contact with the local farmer.
