Our Story
We are James and Pablo and our number one priority is bringing you great tasting food products that support outstanding health – we are Earth’s Goodness Fonio– a company born from a deep desire to share the best nourishments that nature has to offer.
Many years ago, James’s father was diagnosed with diabetes. The devastating symptoms affected his father so much that James took the initiative to search high and low for something to help – but not in the form of a prescription. James had his eye set on a natural “food-based medicine”.
After much traveling within West Africa James found an amazing tiny grain called fonio (phone-yo). This “miracle food” was gluten-free, high in essential amino acids and contained a plethora of other vitamins and minerals. It was also incredibly delicious. Fonio was the breakthrough James was searching for and his family continues to this day to reap the many benefits of regularly including fonio in their diet.
James eventually made his way West with an idea of sharing fonio and its many benefits with people across the United States and eventually around the world. He established a small Web-based company where he would begin to successfully market the grain. While simultaneously working within the healthcare industry, James would meet Pablo, an agency executive. James and Pablo would begin a friendship based on a similar passion – helping people. Here is where Earth’s Goodness was born.
