As most of you our customers, family, and friends know we lost our "Boss Man" during hunting season this year making this year one of our toughest ever. Without God, our family, friends, and customers this year wouldn't have been possible.

First of all we want to thank the good Lord above for helping us make it through this past hunting season and each and every day without him we couldn't have done it.

Secondly we want to thank you our customers for your continued support and trust in us. We truly appreciate each and every one of you. Your loyalty means more than words can express. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you and make your meat into a product you love. Thank you for being a part of our journey.

Help us put the rumors to rest....We hear people think we have shut the doors that is not true....me and daddy made a deal before he left this Earth so as long as mom, me, Aaron Norris and Eric are able we will be open! We are and will do everything we can to make the same great product daddy was always proud of.

Our family would like to thank all of our customers for being patient and working with our schedules during last years season and so far this year. As most of you know last year at the beginning of hunting season we found out our "Boss-Man" (Aka Bill our dad and husband)" was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. We did face challenges through the season last year between appointments, treatments, and someone needing to be home with Bill but our family came together and worked to be sure everyone's meat was taken care of and processed.

November 20 he went home to be with Jesus he gave it his all he fought hard but he was tired and Jesus was ready. The smokehouse has always been a dream of his so our family WILL keep his dream alive.

Monday we will be closed for his services but will re-open Tuesday ready for drop-offs. Help us help him keep it going we look forward to seeing you all this year.

2025-2026 Hunting Season has began....please correct any rumors you may hear that we are not open.....We ARE DEFINITELY OPEN for the season. You may hear our family has some medical issues keeping us from being open. Although it is true we do have medical things going on but that does not mean we are not operating for the season. The Smokehouse is our full time job we are open and operating times may vary, days may vary, that we are there full time but we assure you we are there working to process your meat as quickly as we can our coolers and freezers are at a temperature to keep your meat safe while it is with us.

Due to us having to take care of the medical needs we are working in shifts. It is best to call 850-451-6500 or 850-674-4602 or 850-447-4748 before you come to let us know you are coming someone will either be there or meet you there.

We really appreciate all of our customers and friends support our business. We look forward to seeing you all this year and to a great 2025-2026 season.

It’s about that time again — hunting season is right around the corner! 🦌

If you hunt in different zones, we’re already taking orders. All you need is your FWC number and we’ll get you fixed up.

We’ve heard some talk that we might be closed — don’t worry, we were wide open last year and plan to be again this year!

*****WE ARE OPEN FOR 24/25******

Despite the rumors of a small town
Norris Smokehouse IS open for business.
Yes our family has had a year of medical issues Yes Bill and Jena are currently out of town during the week at appointments related to some of those medical issues.
However, our family is keeping things going for us until we are back home full time. As this is our main resource of income.
We ARE and WILL continue to be open this year
YES we are currently taking meat for processing
YES the turn around time may POSSIBLY be a little slower than in the past but we assure you we take care of everyone's meat. We have large coolers and freezers we use when needed. They are working on everyone's orders as fast as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns please call 850-674-4602 or 850-451-6500.

If you go to the Smokehouse to pick up or drop off and there are vehicles parked outside please go in someone is there to help you. If you get there an the door is locked please call one of the above numbers for direction on what to do or someone to meet you. We do have to run to town or other errands from time to time so please call if possible to let us know you are coming.
