Our Blue Ridge store will be open until 2:00 today (Saturday) and will likely be closed Sunday and Monday, depending on the weather. We hope everyone stays safe and warm during this mess.

Howard County, Maryland has approved a new policy allowing career firefighters and rescue personnel to use medical cannabis while off duty, provided strict conditions are met. The policy, which takes effect January 31, 2026, requires firefighters to have a valid medical authorization on file and prohibits use within 12 hours of reporting for duty. On duty impairment remains strictly forbidden, and the agreement preserves the county’s authority to conduct reasonable suspicion, post incident, and other required testing. County leaders and the firefighters union say the change reflects evolving medical standards and is intended to support treatment for issues common in the fire service such as chronic pain, PTSD, and sleep disorders.

Our Blue Ridge store will close today at 1:00 so that staff can attend a funeral. Local pickups in Murphy will also be unavailable today for the same reason. We will resume normal hours Tuesday.
